You see those eyes? They are very deceiving (and very loveable!) They are used to help emphasize the phrase "Puhlease can I have it?", they are used to furrow the eyebrows when something doesn't go their way, they are used to pull out the alligator tears and so many other things.
Lately though he has used more of his words, well ok lets get real...the only word he's really using right now is "NO" with the phrases: "I do it", "I DON'T WANT TO GO TO SLEEP", " I don't want to go inside! I want to golf!!", "I don't want to eat it" (followed by food falling on the floor), "I don't want to get a spanking", and " I don't want to talk to daddy."
He is a wonderful, loving, silly, excitable, funny, golf playing lil man...he's just having some tough times lately...I think he is in the stage of wanting to be so independent and he hates when I tell him he can't and that he's only 2. :)
I admit though we have had some changes in this house. We have switched his room. We didn't just switch his room around, no we switched his room with my mom's so that WHEN (and the answer is still NO on the baby department) the time comes that we have another baby then he is used to his new room. We also put a new BIG BOY bed in there. The first night it was just wonderful. He slept through the night, he laid down and went right to sleep....Now? Well he's sleeping in his crib. He likes to climb up on his BB bed but sleeping in it? Nope. I hope to try to get him more into it next week but I don't know....he's stubborn....you know like his father....ahem not like me at all....
we have tried the bribes and such but nothing is working so we will have to ease our way into it...I think its a hard process to learn at that age...especially since we didn't just move his BB bed into his existing room we moved him into an entirely new room...there are so many new changes. Oh well he will get it--he can't sleep in that crib forever....
I will be posting pictures of his room once I get done decorating.... :)
Hope all is well with you!
