The past few days we have noticed that Logan's hair has gotten longer or as Herbie would call it "moppy" or "business in the front and party in the back." I noticed that his hair was getting longer by it being a half an inch past his ears (or more). So we decided that today Mom and I would take him to get his haircut. I hesitate to even post these pictures as my wonderful hair stylist is probably reading this, scrolling down and shaking her head as she looks...ok back to the story...well we have--as most locals who have been in our walmart know--a haircutting place located inside. I thought "Hey! We are needing to shop there so why not kill two birds with one stone and get his hair cut there." My first warning should have been the way the lady walked into the "salon" and the way she called his name...like it was the worst thing in the world. Then the fact that she said the only way i can cut his hair is like that boy's hair in that picture..i said "o.k." then she proceeded to take almost all of it off...I think the worst of it is that she had NO customer service skills, a lack of really dealing with small children, and truly giving a "summer" haircut (my opinion) instead of "cleaning it up" like i wanted...
although i guess its partly my fault since i didn't speak up but once again it has proven to me that the best person to cut his hair is Joann....I swear she reads minds.....she knows exactly how and what you need...so as a "plug" for her if you ever need your hair done call for an appointment at the "Broadway Salon" @ 671-7771 and it is located in the Target parking lot!! YOU ROCK JOANN!!! (
she is there Wed, Fri and every other Saturday)
Here are the pictures I took of him when we got home....and yes as ALL of you I am sure are ranting right now as you are reading this...."IT WILL GROW BACK" and yes this i know...but its hard to see your baby with a haircut that makes him look so much older....

And yes your eyes aren't fooling you there is a "bump" on his forehead...Last night he was playing with Herbie and ran too fast and ran into the front door....I hope this isn't showing my genes off... ;)
