Visit with Santa

This last week we ran into Maria...she works at Wal-mart and has been a long time family friend. She told us that on Sunday and Monday Santa was going to be at Wal-Mart and if you took a picture with him you get a free 5x7. We went on Monday. I thought we were going to have the typical screaming picture and when we got there Logan started smiling and sat perfectly with Santa although at first seemed like he didn't really know what was going on...and didn't once look at Santa (other than when we first got there)...When Santa's Elf started talking with him and Logan noticed both the camera and the bells on his hat he started laughing and smiling. I was so happy...and then i got the picture...and noticed that yes logan was smiling but Santa had his eyes closed...

Mom had picked up this outfit at Oshkosh when we were at the factory stores this weekend. The sweater looks JUST like ones my dad used to wear so I had to take pictures of him with it on...Also i had to bribe him with a cookie so that he would stay there instead of getting up!! :D

Saying Goodbye.....

This past sunday we went to Berkeley to help Marisa and Chris pack. They are moving to L.A. so that Chris can go to a wonderful school down there to follow his dream of becoming a History Professor. It was very hard for us to leave that day as we all know we won't be seeing them as much anymore. After we helped them pack we went out to the Pyramid Brewery to celebrate Chris's 31st Birthday...oh Chris your getting so old!! ;)
